Season’s greetings from Danida Fellowship Centre 2020 has been an unprecedented year. The implications of the Covid-19 pandemic have been extensive and sad and we miss welcoming our fellows to Denmark. However, we face 2021 with optimism.
Meet Danida fellow Amanda Ngwenya “When we start having very ambitious climate goals that’s when we start seeing action” says Amanda Ngwenya, master’s student of Sustainable Energy Engineering @DTU. Her dream is to make a difference by securing a more sustainable energy sector in South Africa.
Together we can create great change in our communities “I am honoured to receive the prize. I accept it on behalf of my team at Takataka Plastics and other young social entrepreneurs,” Peter Okwoko said in his acceptance speech for the Danida Alumni Prize.
