GIA Vacancies


Social Officer
We are looking for a Social Officer to organize GIA lunches and drinks and take part in discussions concerning the welfare and future of interns.
 

Secretary
We are looking for a Secretary to interact, discuss GIA's future projects and report board meetings.
 

The tasks are not limited to the function and everyone can propose any project during board meetings. Feel free to join us to get involved in GIA.

This week we will be going to one of the most famous English pubs in Geneva! Lord Nelson Pub! (cooler than Brasserie du Molard)

How to get there?
Bus stop "Métropole"
Buses number 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 25
Then walk 1-2 min to place du Molard

Tram stop "Bel Air" or "Molard"
Trams number 12, 14, 18

GIA LUNCH 
Date:  Wednesday, 11th February at 12.30 
Place: World Meteorological Organization 
            Avenue de la Paix, 7bis
 
WMO has the most beautiful view over the lake among all the UN Organizations. So come, enjoy and have lunch with your fellow interns!

UN badge will be required to enter the building. And be advised that the cafeteria opens at 12:30 (sharp!) for visitors.

Your host Victoria Donnaloja will be waiting for you at the entrance.

GIA is an association of interns working in International Organisations and NGOs in Geneva. Our three main aims are to improve:
  • The Professional Welfare of Interns (e.g.campaigning to improve working conditions, seeking fair remuneration and diversifying the accessibility of internship programmes)
  • Life Beyond Work (e.g. improving interns’ social events: UN Drinks and UN Lunches)
  • Continuity and a Lasting Institution (having a formal association will help passing experience and information from one generation of interns to the next)
