Dear ENRIITC Partner,
Share your news with us!
Having an active channel of communication is of paramount importance for our network. If you have any news on, for example, technical progress, participation in events or published articles, please let us know.
News from the Project
Thank you for making the
1st ENRIITC Networking Meeting a success!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 1st Networking Meeting! Whether you took part as a guest, a speaker, an organiser or as support, you contributed to making it a success. This 2-day event was an important milestone and brought us one step closer to creating a strategic pan-European network of Industrial Liaison and Contact Officers. We hope that you enjoyed the experience as much as we did, and we hope to see you again soon for future ENRIITC activities for networking, best practice exchange, mutual learning and more!

Missed the event? Read about it!

Our 1st networking meeting took place virtually on 15-16 October 2020 and brought together more than 120 representatives of research infrastructures, industry, and Industry Liaison Offices. The participants were from 21 countries from across Europe. See an overview of the three-session event, the outcomes from the table discussions, pictures, presentations and more on our website

Attended the event? Fill in our survey!

If you attended any of the three sessions, we would love to hear your thoughts! Please tell us about your experience by filling-in our survey, which will help us to improve the experience for future ENRIITC meetings and events. It should take approximately 5 minutes to complete and will remain open until tomorrow, 30 October at 17:00 CEST

At the end of the survey, you are given the opportunity to express your interest in one of our six focus groups. We look forward to hearing from you!
Who is ENRIITC?
ENRIITC is made up of 11 consortium partners and more than 60 associate partners, making it a very broad and diverse Network. To better understand who is involved in the Network and what collaboration opportunities are available, we will be slowly introducing our partners in this section. We have already introduced the consortium in the previous newsletters and are now presenting the Associates!

Euro-BioImaging Industry Board

The Euro-BioImaging Industry Board is the dedicated platform for Biological and Biomedical Imaging companies to communicate and collaborate with the wider Euro-BioImaging community to strengthen imaging research in the Life Sciences in Europe. The Board also offers a single entry point for Industry to jointly access other European and global initiatives to discuss cross-sectoral challenges and emerging policies.
Claudia Pfander is the Coordinator of the Euro-BioImaging Industry Board. She is responsible for strengthening the two-way dialogue between Industry and the Research Infrastructure, its imaging facilities at the Euro-BioImaging Nodes and technology end users. Claudia has a background in public-private partnerships in health and biomedical research. She is organizing different activities to broaden the Board’s knowledge of imaging research and identifying new technological trends, such as joint training activities and technology showcasing with industry.

Illustrating the concept of RIs: New animated movies

EMPHASIS presents a new series of scribble films: three short animated videos produced in scribble style illustrate what research infrastructures are, why researchers do plant phenotyping and what EMPHASIS is all about. Click the link above to view them all or see their individual links below:

RI-VIS Provides Guide on Communication Strategies

A team of communication experts and managers of research infrastructures led by our Associate partners EMPHASIS and Instruct-ERIC have now developed a step-by-step guide on how to develop and implement a communication strategy for research infrastructures. The guide is a free resource to assist research infrastructure managers and communication staff and has been developed as part of the EU-funded RI-VIS project, a consortium of 13 partners that aims to increase the visibility of research infrastructures.
