Join us for #ENRIITCyourCoffee Season 2:
Episode 7 TODAY at 15:00 CET!
Given the large amounts of public money spent on research facilities, there is growing interest in how this investment benefits and effects society and the economy. Policy makers and funders are increasingly requesting more data and insights on the performance of RIs and their socio-economic impact. Yet measuring this contribution remains a complex endeavour. What are the main challenges RIs face complying with monitoring and impact assessment requirements? How can these challenges be best addressed and what could be done to gain most value from monitoring and impact assessment activities? The session will draw upon the accumulated learning from H2020 funded project RI-PATHS and invite participants to pose questions and share their practical experiences.

ANAee
AnaEE (Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems) is a European RI which brings together a series of state-of-the-art experimental and analytical platforms for ecosystem research throughout Europe. At the core of AnaEE’s approach is a network of distributed experimental facilities, through which ecosystems can be exposed to a series of controlled conditions, from land-use change, pollution, biological invasions, rising atmospheric greenhouse gases concentrations, and to increasing extreme events such as droughts and heatwaves.
