Who is ENRIITC? 
ENRIITC is made up of 11 consortium partners and more than 60 associate partners, making it a very broad and diverse Network. To better understand who is involved in the Network and what collaboration opportunities are available, we will be introducing 1 partner in each newsletter, starting with the consortium. 
Big Science Sweden 

Big Science Sweden is the official Swedish ILO-organisation, helping Big Science facilities across the world finding Swedish suppliers. The ILOs work with companies with a wide range of technical specialities, providing different types of solutions and resources. They guide them in developing their knowledge and skills to solve critical problems for Big Science facilities. Through connecting Academia and Industry, Big Sceince Sweden forms strong teams. Make sure to check out their calendar and participate in their different events!
 

Anna Hall is the Program Director of Big Science Sweden and is the Swedish ILO for ESS, CERN, Fair, the purchasing advisor for ILL and ESRF, and the supplier contact point for Max IV, Desy, XFEL.
 
Frida Tibblin is a Business Developer within Big Science Sweden and has a broad network within Swedish Industry delivering to Big Science. She has for the three last years worked with business Development and Innovation strengthening Swedish industrial SMEs.
 
Together, Anna and Frida are co-leading Task 3.3. “Outreach strategies toward industry” and involved in Tasks 4.2, 4.3 and WP5.

2nd ESFRI RIs-EOSC Workshop - "RIs  Shaping EOSC"


The 2nd Workshop on the connection of ESFRI Research Infrastructures (RIs) to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC),"Research Infrastructures shaping EOSC", will take place on 6 & 7 October 2020, in Greece. The main objective of the workshop is to bring together ESFRI, ESFRI RIs and EOSC stakeholders, in order to showcase and better comprehend the EOSC concept and value proposition for its users, and ensure the optimal federation of ESFRI clusters/ RIs with EOSC. EU-Pearl: Shaping the future of clinical trials


EU-PEARL is a strategic alliance between the public and private sectors to transform the way clinical trials are conducted. The EU-PEARL consortium consists of 23 public and 13 private partners and will create an innovative framework, incorporating patient perspectives to simultaneously study multiple investigational therapies through a single Integrated Research Platform (IRP). This IMI (Innovative Medicines Initiative) funded Project aims to accelerate drug development processes.

EOSC-Life: an open collaborative digital space for life science in the European Open Science Cloud


 

EOSC-Life is the project regrouping the 13 Life Sciences (LS) RIs in Europe into the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and joining forces to create an open collaborative digital space for life science. Under EOSC-Life the 13 LS RIs will publish their data as FAIR Data Resources, link reusable Tools and Workflows to standardised computing services in national life-science clouds, and connect with their scientific users across Europe to a single login authentication and resource authorisation system.

By the end of the 3-year project, EOSC-Life will be established as the new norm for digital biology in Europe – accessible by Europe’s 500,000 life scientists.

Smart Agrifood Summit 2020 - Call for Startups!


The deadline for the Smart Agrifood Summit 2020 call for startups is Monday, 31 August 6:00pm. The best startups will be selected to participate in two intensive days from 24 - 25 September, 2020, where they will have an international team of successful advisors, entrepreneurs, and investors, with unique activities designed to help them.
