taxhelp.uk.com October newsletter
The end of October sees the first tax return deadline for the 2012 returns, covering the period to 5th April 2012.
As HMRC only guarantee to be able to code out any underpayments for the employed before this date, time is running out to meet this deadline.
In this issue I also feature the winner of our summer competition, who I interviewed on video recently when I presented the £150 M&S voucher.
Nick Meade - All Seasons Gardening
Nick has been a client of ours for several years, and was also the winner of the summer competition - passing my details to two people interested in our services. When I visited Nick I shot a video interview, which is on my YouTube channel
You can find out more about Nick and how he helps his own clients by visiting his website: http://www.all-seasons-gardening.co.uk/
I have also posted a blog about Nick
on my own site as well.
Small business advice via video
I have been using business video since 2009, sharing tips and advice as well as explaining the services I offer and updating people on business changes.
I have almost 90 videos now, and these are free to view on my YouTube channel, ‘taxhelpukcom.’
Since the summer I have been posting regular video blogs, and averaged one a day during August. I will shortly be recording a series that will run through until December, and these will be uploaded every Tuesday to YouTube.

Fixed fee business advice packages
I have developed a range of fixed fee business advice packages. For the self-employed these also qualify for tax relief as a business expense. You can find out more from my consultancy site
I will be in touch again next month.
