From NC to IN: Following the Call to the Karenni Church

Theh Mar Htoo, formerly a part of World Relief's Employment team, is helping establish a Karenni church in Indianapolis.

We're looking for volunteers to help at our World Relief Community Festival this Friday! Opportunities include set-up, food service, kids activities, interactive art, supply donations, and more. For this and other opportunities, see below.

As we say goodbye to our summer volunteers and interns, we're in need of front desk help. Tasks include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and helping us create a warm welcome. Let us know if you'd like to help at our front desk during any of our weekday shifts by emailing triadvc@wr.org

Have you logged your volunteer hours?

As a non-profit, recording volunteer hours is essential to the funding and impact of our programs. Unfortunately, only 1/3 of our volunteers log time and mileage. Volunteer Hours are valued at $24.69 an hour and help us raise a cash match for refugee programs. By logging your hours, you're helping us servie more people in more ways - thank you!

A great way to partner with WR Triad is by praying with and for us! This month, we're seeking prayer for...
- the eyes and hearts of U.S. leadership to be open and welcoming towards vulnerable refugees
- the staff and clients in our Anti-Human Trafficking program as they manage high case loads
- our upcoming World Relief Community Festival this Friday - that we would have a good turn out, many opportunities to build relationships, safety, and good weather

We'll be connecting several newly arrived refugees and survivors of human trafficking to housing over the next few weeks. We're in urgent need of household items to give these families a warm welcome!
