"Dear Ivanka" -- Evangelical Leaders Urge Support of Anti-Trafficking Law
World Relief and other evangelical organizations recently penned a letter to Ivanka Trump urging her to use her influence to end the suspension of TVPRA, an anti-trafficking law that provides safeguards to unaccompanied minors. In a recent blog, our own Rachel Parker, anti-Human Trafficking Services Manager, explained how the suspension of TVPRA puts lives at risk. Read the blog here >>

What does the Bible have to say about U.S. immigration?
Immigration is an important biblical issue and a central part of the American story. But U.S. immigration policy is often confusing and complex. Our friends at the Evangelical Immigration Table have created an Immigration Primer that provides an overview of how the U.S. immigration system works today, what’s NOT working, and how the system could work better and be more consistent with biblical principles. Have you logged your volunteer hours?
It's more important than ever to log the hours you've served. Your hours help us raise a cash match required by certain grants, as well as advocate for even more opportunities to bring our community together and empower others. A volunteer hour is currently valued at $27.20, so every hour logged counts! By logging your hours - especially now - you're helping us ensure that we can serve more people in more ways. Thank you!

A great way to partner with WR Triad is by praying with and for us! Will you join us in continuing to pray for our community in these ways?
  • For continued health and safety for our communities, especially for clients who are vulnerable due to old age and medical conditions. That God would comfort them during this time of increased isolation
  • For our newest refugee arrivals as they adapt to their new lives in the midst of unusual circumstances
  • For clients encountering complications with T-visas. That they would receive their visas and not become discouraged
  • For parents and students during times of remote learning, and for the community (teachers, WR staff, volunteers) as we seek to find the best ways to support students and families during this time.
  • For households, especially single parents, struggling with employment due to lack of affordable childcare
  • For continued innovation, creativity, inspiration, and energy for our staff and community partners as we continue to meet needs in the midst of ongoing change
  • For compassionate hearts, unity and wisdom as we near elections
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:23
Lasting change takes a community.

These last months have shown us what we've known all along - at World Relief Triad, we're made for change. Helping our newest neighbors and the communities that welcome them adapt to changing circumstances is in our DNA.  But we never do this work alone - it takes a community of welcome and support to build thriving lives together.

You can stand with your refugee, immigrant, and trafficking survivor neighbors as they rebuild their lives by partnering with us financially. Thank you for loving your neighbor!
