For the first time in MOVE Congress history, you can watch us LIVE from Rome on www.movecongress.com, on 23 and 24 October and 09.30 CET.

You can also join in the debate from home. Just watch our live streaming of the plenary sessions on Wednesday 23 October and Thursday 24 October and tweet your questions to #MOVEcongress, using the speaker’s name and #AskMC14.

Final programme now online

The final details of the MOVE Congress 2014 are now in place. And if you are one of the 330 delegates who will be joining us in Rome from 22 to 25 October 2014, you will soon discover more about how open and active cities are built. Representatives from 70 organisations in 52 countries take part in the debate and, for the first time, thousands more will be joining in from home. 32 speakers and 8 moderators, including Congress convenor Sean Blair from Pro Meet, UK, are now confirmed.

Urban orienteering in the City of Rome

The MOVE Congress 2014 venue will turn into an open air arena on the first afternoon of the Congress, from 15.00-18.00, when we explore the city of Rome. Gianluca Di Girolami, President of UISP Roma and archaeologist, will demonstrate the links between Ancient Rome and healthy lifestyle, and Dr. Renato Sebastiani from the Italian Ministry of Culture will take us on a walking tour through the ancient culture of Rome, bringing us to Capitoline Hill. Our arrival will be streamed live on www.movecongress.com
