Shalom from Jerusalem to you all, friends and partners!

Recently we’ve seen a multiplication effect here at Jerusalem Seminary with our first pilot online Spoken Biblical Hebrew course! We thank God for this as well as your support and interest as we continue towards this goal of making an impact in discipleship and ministry training in the Land of the Bible and the world over. Check out our newsletter archive to read our first ever newsletter from last month.

During the past few months JS’ School of Hebrew: Hebrew for the Nations staff have been quietly forging ahead with our inaugural online Communicative Biblical Hebrew course, which started in July!  This closed-registration pilot course boasts seventeen students from various countries including the U.S, Peru, India, Myanmar and Guam, who are all learning Biblical Hebrew the immersive way!

“I wish my seminary professors had used this approach 10 years ago when I started studying Hebrew. You have breathed new life into ancient Biblical Hebrew. Thank you!” - Current Student

Our course has a very special instructor, Crystal Rudolph. A Jerusalem area local, Crystal was a participant in the very first Hebrew for the Nations Teacher’s Course for native Hebrew speakers in 2018. She soon realized her calling to bring Biblical Hebrew to the Nations and joined the JS Staff with the School of Hebrew: Hebrew for the Nations, becoming the International Course Coordinator.

“I'm thankful for the technology that allows students from around the world to participate in the course. I enjoy meeting them every week and witnessing their growth in understanding Biblical Hebrew.” - Crystal

Recently she has started training another graduate, Irit, from the 2020 JS’ H4N Teacher’s Course to help teach an open-registration pilot online course (planned to start in March 2021). It is a great joy for us to see local Israelis coming into their own as Biblical Hebrew instructors and serving the Nations!

By supporting JS’ School of Hebrew, a multiplication effect will be had upon more and more teachers and students around the world - we invite you to help multiply the number of teachers and students with the knowledge of Biblical Hebrew and God’s Word with an online gift!

Thank you for keeping in touch with Jerusalem Seminary. Be sure to check out our website and follow us on social media via the links below. Keep your eye out for the announcement of our 2021 courses: not only a spoken Biblical Hebrew option but also a couple of Bible and Israel based courses from our new School of the BIble

We wish you a blessed Hanukkah and Christmas, and to know Yeshua (Jesus) more deeply and follow in His ways!

In common service for the King,
Brian (Baruch) Kvasnica and Brittany McCay for the JS Team

P.S. To multiply Hebrew for the Nations teachers, just choose the "School of Hebrew" option on the JS Giving Page: $1000 will cover the tuition and textbooks for one Israeli for the six month teacher’s training course and $5000 will cover the course as well as six months of apprenticeship under the School of Hebrew staff.

Your faithful service brings transforming ministry training from Jerusalem to the world

And many nations will come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in His paths: for Instruction shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Micah 4:2
