Not all heroes wear capes!

A happy New Year to you all, and we hope that you are all energized to be proactive and for us all, NGOs and Government, to work together on road safety in 2017

Many of the 1 714 festive season deaths were probably preventable if people had adhered to traffic rules and if Traffic Officers had done more enforcement on seatbelt use, no drink driving/cell phone use, etc.
We lost the equivalent of 5 plane loads of passengers this “Festive season”! Totally unacceptable!

We need to find solutions and get a movement going - #StopRoadCarnage - as was done in the USA with the Womans Drive – to together push for reform. Road safety is an issue that affects us all and it’s time that we change our attitudes and get involved.

Start by becoming a  #ZeroHero for SADD and help fund advocacy, education on how to drive sober and to fund us to assist families who have been affected by drink driving.
It's also a great way to adopt a healtheir lifestyle for a better you in 2017!

This year we have decided to have two options: #AlcoFreeFeb and #SugarFreeFeb
Please visit our website for more information.
You can choose to participate in one campaign or both.

We have wonderful prizes from Kish Mish and Zari to be won, for the people who recruit the most participants, so be sure to look on our social media for more details.

SADD is committed to stopping underage drinking
AlcoFreeTeen is designed to make the youth aware of road safety and why they NEED to get involved.
Please encourage your youth to join SADD and to take part in the AlcoFreeTeen campaign this February
