This Week’s Welcome

Tena koutou katoa,

Well we’ve finally had some rain and a little green tinge is returning to the grass. Please watch out for slippery tiles and road markings. Months of fine weather and traffic use have laid down a good layer of film and a couple of us (me included) have gone for a skid on the zebra crossings. Mark is scrubbing them down with a degreaser but it would still be a good idea to tread carefully.

It was sad to cancel our Family Picnic but I’m sure we all understand that we are operating in unusual circumstances. I hope our regular communications have been providing the assurance that you need regarding our children’s health and wellbeing.

I’d like to give a huge vote of thanks to the parents who came to help out at Swimming Sports on Monday. Events like this simply aren’t possible without your support and we really appreciated you being there.

Ngā mihi nui,

Sue Smith

Help needed!

Does anyone have an engineering/welding connection? The door to one of our bicycle storage containers has fallen off and we need to repair the hinges or fit new ones.

Scholastic Book Club

This year's second issue of the Scholastic Book Club is being sent home this week.

Please make sure you place your order before Friday 27th March. Thank you.

Thank you

We would like to thank Eli Walls, Sarah Wei, Tyler Stevens, Alexa Flynn, the Thynne Family and the Amarasinghe Family who have kindly donated new books to our school library.  It is very important for our young readers to have access to a selection of books to help them learn through reading. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. We accept donations of both new and pre-loved books. Just drop them off to the office, making sure to include your name.
