June Tips

Keith's Corner: The Beginning of the Rainy Season
June first marks the beginning of hurricane season and South Florida's rainy season. This month is a great time to trim back all trees in preparation of any storms. It is also the perfect time to install a palm or hardwood tree. It is important to remember to stake any newly planted trees for at least six months. Now is also a good time to prune summer flowering bushes, such as hibiscus, ixora and oleander. Inspect your lawn regularly for damage; brown or yellow spots on lawns could be caused by over watering, lack of water or insects.

As always, remember to install your sod green side up!
