October Tips

Shane's Spot: Add some spice to your garden!

October is a great month to plant vegetables and herbs that will produce foods during the winter months. Some options to plant are strawberry plants, garlic, cilantro, broccoli, and lettuce. You may also want to prevent any winter weeds from growing by applying pre-emergence herbicides to your lawn. And, make sure to adequately water your garden.

As always, remember to install your sod green side up!
