October Tips

Keith's Corner: Landscaping

Hi to everyone in South Florida! Fall is right around the corner, which means cooler weather is on its way. It also means the rainy season will be over. These weather changes will impact your community association's landscaping needs. Most communities will go from lawn cuttings weekly or every ten days to two cuttings per month. Also, many condos and HOAs have bougainvillea. These do not need to be watered or fertilized until May. If you decide to give them one last feeding use a high potash with very little nitrogen.

Remember always install your sod green side up!
