February Tips

Keith's Corner: Preparing Your Landscape for Spring
Weeds begin germinating in February, so now is the time to apply pre-emergents and fertilizers. If weeds are left untreated, they will quickly invade the landscaping. Now, is also a good time to make hard cutbacks to larger plants, shrubs and trees which will allow full growth to occur. This is also the time to plant trees and shrubs and to apply mulch.

As always, remember to install your sod green side up!
