mHealth for Maternal Mental Health!

Following funding from the Australian Government’s Direct Aid Programme (DAP), the PMHP partnered with Mobenzi to move our Service Programme administration onto an electronic platform, which will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

Mobenzi provides technological support to organizations involved in research, data collection, logistics, and community service delivery. Our counsellors received training in the use of screening and data capturing on hand-held devices. The service went live on July 1.

New Volunteers

Ever wondered what a laughter yoga teacher, a doula with a passion for coaching and a midwife from the UK have in common?

They are donating their time and expertise to the PMHP. We proudly introduce Kate, Trisha and Jill.

Rural trainers qualify

The co-ordinators and trainers of the Small Projects Foundation, that we had trained in May, have completed their studies with our Bettercare book, Maternal Mental Health. All were successful in passing their exam on the book, with the required 80% mark for certification. This will allow them to train community care worker teams throughout the province.
