And that’s a wrap!

#Floatfest15 was a great success!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the Weekend of #Floatfest15. Our 2015 event was a great success with more people watching on the banks and taking part with the on water activities than the 2014 event.

The OFFICIAL COUNT was 156 kayaks and canoes on the river at once!

We are already in planning stages for #Floatfest16, so make sure you stay tuned. We would love to hear your feedback!  Head to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/682DZSW and fill out our survey to help us make ‪#Floatfest16 even better.

MANNUM WATERS

We would also like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mannum Waters and their Board of Directors.  They were our initial naming sponsor, and have worked with us as we have developed the event and  by allowing us to use their gorgeous spot on the river. So thank you!  Don’t forget Mannum Waters have recently released new waterfront allotments that are priced from $195,000. For more information head on over to their website (www.mannumwaters.com.au).

CAPTAIN COOK CRUISES

Captain Cook Cruises supported Floatfest for both 2014 and 2015, and we would like to say a BIG thank you to them for all their support. Don’t forget Captain Cook Cruises offer more than just the PS Murray Princess, with extended holidays that venture over to Kangaroo Island and much more. Head to their website to see where you might be going for your next holiday  https://www.murrayprincess.com.au/.

RAY’S OUTDOORS

We would also like to thank our other major sponsors for 2015, Ray’s Outdoors Enfield! The boys from all of the SA based Ray’s Outdoors stores joined us in Rundle Mall back in April, they then joined us for a big weekend at #Floatfest15. They not only stayed in the Mannum Caravan Park and displayed a small selection of camping gear you can buy at Ray’s Outdoors, they also took part in the paddle to Mannum Waters, the count and then paddled the whole way back to Mary Ann Reserve. We would like to say a huge thanks to all the boys!  Go check out all their camping gear at

NEW NAMING RIGHT SPONSOR FOR 2016

We are excited to announce that The Pretoria Hotel Mannum have come onboard as our Corporate Sponsor for #Floatfest16.   Their support has been incredible and we look forward to working alongside them as we prepare for our next event.  Why not take a drive and spend a luncheon Riverside whilst you plan your next summer canoe expedition? www.pretoriahotel.com.au

FOODBANK SA

#Floatfest is proud to have been associated with Foodbank SA this year.  Foodbank's fundamental belief is that no one should go hungry. As the largest hunger relief organisation in South Australia, Foodbank distributes food to help 60,000 South Australians every month - with one third of them being children - via a network of 450 community organisations and 270 schools running school breakfast programs.

It is an unfortunate fact that the demand for Foodbank services is rising, with more than 8,000 people being turned away by community organisations every month.  We know that going hungry in Australia is unacceptable and we will drive our efforts to gather support from South Australians to fight hunger in our state.

We would love to help them make a difference by supporting them with the food items they need.  Don’t forget to donate from your work places!  Together we can make a difference!  Love it that jars of vegemite came from the community of Mannum during the Floatfest weekend!  For the latest information, CLICK HERE.
