Did you know this will be the first Purnong Water Regatta?

And we will be there!
Will you?

Been wondering what activities the
Floatfest team will be up to?

Wonder no more,
here's our schedule

The Activities - FAQ

Morning Paddle

Exactly as is sounds, go for a morning paddle with Canoe the Coorong along the river at Caurnamont/Purnong. Take the opportunity to paddle along the cliffs and enjoy their rich golden colour from up close.

Canoe the Coorong activities

Depending on how many people the team has they could be playing some water sports such as a bit of canoe polo, trying to stand in your canoe, taking part in a canoe race, or even getting in a test run on the obstacle course - you never know what the team will have up their sleeves!

Canoeing Obstacle Course

Have a crack at setting the fastest time to complete the canoeing obstacle course - the course often includes dodging and weaving around buoys slalom style, canoe limbo, and of course a dash to the finish line.

Dash for Cash

Exactly as it sounds, your chance to take part in the canoe race or simply watch your friends give it their all to bring home some great prizes!

Safety Briefing

Please attend the Floatfest safety briefing - for your safety its best to know where to go and what to do incase of an emergency

Record Attempt

This is where we gathering as many canoes, kayaks and paddle boards we can find! Enter the river safely and gather around the pool noodle rope to 'raft' together and create a canoe/kayak/paddleboard raft!

This is a great photo opportunity!

For those both taking part on the water and those watching from the banks. If you take a photo we'd love to see it so make sure you use our hashtags #floatfest2020 or #purnongwaterregatta
