Happy 4th of July!
Flagstaff Summer Camps
STEM summer camps are in full swing! Check the STEM City Summer Camp list
to make sure you have the information you need to enroll your children, and/or to make sure YOUR camp is listed! Contact STEM City
with any additions or changes!
Consider writing a guest blog
for the STEM City website to let the Flagstaff community know the great things that are going on at your camp. NCHC's Marney Babbitt
has two new blog posts that showcase great examples for guest blogs. One discusses the Future Health Leaders Camp
that took place with 40 HS students
(some from Flagstaff) at the U of A this summer and that will be at NAU
next summer! Another blog is recruiting coaches for the invaluable Girls on the Run
program. Please consider being a coach (no experience necessary!) for this short-term program that has long-lasting impacts to empower girls! We know if girls have more self-confidence they are more likely to engage in challenging subjects including STEM!
Simply submit a few paragraphs and a few photos (students must have photo-releases) to STEM City
and we will post appropriate content to our website. These can also be linked to social media to increase awareness for your camp.

The course is free, eligible for HS credit, and will be held at NAU after most high schools classes have ended for the day.
