Season’s Greetings from The College!
This is indeed a festive time.  As the Holiday Season becomes busier and we are all rushing to meet work and family obligations before we take that much need Christmas break,  we at CVRP want to take this opportunity to express our immense thanks to all our volunteers, committee members and friends from CAVEWAS who have literally given hours of their time this year.  We could not have accomplished nearly what we have in 2015 without their support and consistent hard work.

As such, we have had another stellar year with the Registration, Renewal and CEU Maintenance Policy updates, CCVE credential development and the re-classification of the CVRP credential itself.  Your CVRP Certification ensures the public that they are well protected through the rigorous credentialing standards, complaints and discipline procedures and that you, as their vocational rehabilitation professional, are meeting the CVRP standards of practice.   We have designed and printed a new pamphlet for the College.  Please follow this link ( if you are interested and would like to pro-actively support your College.
Of particular note for the public, and you as Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals, is the development of the specialty credential, the Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE).  The first sitting of the CCVE examination is scheduled for April 3rd, immediately following the CCVE Examination Preparation Training Day sponsored by CAVEWAS on Saturday April 2nd.  Both events will be held at the University of York in the York@Seneca Building the Lower Kaleidoscope Room S1209.  The application forms will be available in January.
As part of professionalism, you must renew your Errors and Omissions Practice Insurance every year.  For those registrants who are not affiliated with a professional association, there is a link to LMS Prolink for an excellent group E&O Insurance Policy specifically designed for CVRP Registrants and Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals in Canada.  The link is
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the College Registrar, Janice and Administrators, Amber, Mary and Sue, we would like to sincerely wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season!

***Please note that the College will be closed from 2 pm December 24th to 9:00 am January 4, 2016
