Google Begins another Move Towards a Secure Web

Google has always taken Internet security and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) seriously by advocating that sites adopt HTTPS encryption. Currently all Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) sites are not marked as “not sure”. HTTPS is a secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between a browser and a website. The “S” at the end of HTTPS, stands for Secure, meaning all exchange of data/information between the browser and the website is encrypted.
