I want to compliment your children for their patience during this record setting rainy season! We have such well-behaved, kind children but being stuck inside can be challenging for anyone and they’ve been fantastic! So, kudos to you for raising strong leaders!!
Our drop off and pickup situation continues to be a safety issue and I hate to keep bringing it up, but… We noticed that if there are adults monitoring drop off /pickup in front of school, traffic flows well and no one leaves their car unattended. However, when adults are not there, things get a little scary with double parking and cars going around parked cars in the drop off lane. So, to review:
Thank you for your help with this most important issue! Not only is it a safety issue, but the MBPD will be giving tickets for cars not adhering to the posted signs.
- There is no parking and leaving your car unattended on Francisco Street or in the drop off loop in the front of school during the posted times - 7:45-9:00am and 1:00-3:00pm on school days. Please help to move with the flow of traffic and pull forward when the space in front of you becomes available.
- The staff parking lots on 1st Street and Francisco are for staff only and are not places to drop or pick up students.
Lastly, dogs are not allowed on school property. If you walk to school with your furry friend, they may not go beyond the gates or wait for you in the parking lot. Thank you for understanding.
