November 22nd we are having a work party to clean up for the Turkey Shoot on November 23rd.
December 6th Kim Rhode will be at the club from 10:00am to 4:00pm, she will be signing autographs and doing some shooting demonstrations. We are going to have some raffles with some great prizes. We would appreciate help from our members

At the November general meeting we held the election of officers for 2015, no one was challenged therefore we held a â€˜white ballotâ€™. Officers for 2015 are:
President- Keith Baker, Vice-President- Frank Murphy, Executive Officer- Butch Phillips, Secretary- John Silva, Treasurer- Linda Lee, Trap Director- none, Skeet Director- none, Member-at-Large- Nick Mosich, Member-at-Large- Ken Weaver, Rifle and Pistol Director- Gary Grabowsky, Junior Rifle Director- Jay DeCou.
The front gate intercom system is complete. The system will allow non-members to gain access to the club by using the intercom to call the club house and have someone open the gate from the club house. We can also use a code to enter into the key pad. There is also a box inside that can be opened for non-members to push a button to open the gate to exit.
Membership renewals will be mailed out in the next few weeks, renewals are due by December 31, 2014.

Black powder: Gary Grabowsky- Our shoots are the first Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. We shoot long rifle and pistol. At the November in rifle Ron Prescott was first, Doug Weatherly second, and Good Gary was third. In the pistol match Good Gary was first, Bad Gary second and Ron Prescott was Third.
Varmint Rifle: Dennis Gray- Matches are held the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. with signups at 8:00 a.m. Cost is $5.00 and we use .22 long rifles. You shoot against like rifles. We have loaner sandbags and spotting scopes. At the November match we had 18 shooters. In sporter iron Dave boal was first, James Wiley second and Dennis Grey third. In peep heavy Steve Havel was first Allan Baillie second, and Nick Mosich was third. In sporter scope Dan Pritchard was first. In scope heavy Rene Anderson first, Bob Sweet second and Rex Thornhill third. Do to the Kim Rhode appearance on December 6th the Varmint Match is moved to December 13th after the High Power match at 12:30 pm.
Junior Rifle: Jay DeCou- Junior Rifle is a year-long program that starts in July and meets one Saturday a month.
Trap & Skeet: Trap is open on Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. In October we threw 6,850 targets with a profit of $377.75.
On November 1st the Native Sons of the Golden West had their annual trap and skeet. There were people in attendance from all over the state that attended their meeting held earlier in the week. Tactical Pistol: Chris Baker- Our matches are held on the fourth Saturday of the month, with a walk through and new shooter orientation at 8:30 am and the match starts at 9:00 am. The matches are based on USPSA style pistol shooting. At the October match they had 15 shooters, we had an open practice. We deposited $135.00 into the clubs checking account.
Archery: Jerry Zalusky- Report given by Butch Phillips, we have some shoot dates for next year, we will be giving those to the Secretary to put on the calendar. On the third Saturday of each month (weather Permitting) we will hold a beginning archery class from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. If anyone is interested in trying the sport you can come out and we can set you up with a club bow to borrow thanks to the grant we received from the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Components: Joe Franzone- Opening cash for the month was $7,334.71. We sold $984.00 in components and $320.00 in lead for a total of $1,304.00. Expenses were $2,225.85. Total cash on hand is $6,412.86. We also donated 2 flats of shells to the Hall of Fame at the state trap shoot. Joe also wanted to thank all of the volunteer help in running the trap and skeet on Wednesdays and Sundays, anyone interested in donating some time can get in touch with me.
Junior Shotgun: Keith Baker- We started the next session on September 4th, we have almost 20 juniors, class starts at 6:00 pm in the club house and we shoot until 7:00 pm. We cover Safe Gun Handling, gun fit, trap etiquette, and trap leads on targets. Cost is $35 per child or $70 maximum per family. Cost includes targets and shells. Money Shoot: Dale Vogt- The trap money shoot is held on the 4th Wednesday of the month starting at 6:00. No report given
HIGH POWER RIFLE: Duard Danielson- At the October DCM/GARAND Clinic there were only 3 shooters in attendance.
RUGER 10/22 MATCH: Bob Sweet- At the first 10/22 match we had 9 shooters, entry fee was 1 box of ammo. We shot at 10 clay targets (off hand) hanging from wire at 50 yards. At 75 years of age Bob Sweet won with 9 out of 10 clays hit. Good shooting Bob. Another match will be announced.
