November 2013

On September 21st and 22nd we held our annual trap mudslide shoot. Member Barbie Thorp held off all shooters and won the high over all buckle with a total score of 375 out of 400, good shooting Barbie.
At the October 1st general meeting nomination of officers for the 2014 year was held. Nominations were: President Keith Baker, Vice-President Joe Franzone, Executive Officer Ricky Fernandez, Secretary John Silva, Treasurer Linda Lee, Skeet Director Steve Fiant, Rifle and Pistol Director Frank Murphy, Junior Rifle Director Jay DeCou, Member at Large Director(two positions) Butch Phillips and Ken Weaver. No one was nominated for the Trap Director Position. A motion was made and passed that we accept the nominations as a ‘white ballot’ therefore we will not be holding elections at the November general meeting.
If anyone is interested in donating some time supervising the trap and skeet on a Sunday or Wednesday contact Joe Franzone, we appreciate the help.
November 23rd is our work party getting the club ready for the turkey shoot on the 24th. Come out and help clean your club.
In November we will again be sending out membership renewal forms by mail. Not all of our members have email and this seemed to work well last year. The membership cards will be sent again by mail after your renewal has been processed.

Have fun and shoot safe
