Our new camera system is very clear and it is being monitored on a regular basis. If you see something at the club that you don’t feel is correct or safe and do not want to confront anyone, contact one of the directors with the time and date and what happened. You can also call the phone number to the club and leave a message or send an email. We will check our security system with the information provided.
At the October general meeting we held nominations of officers for 2015, nominations were;
President- Keith Baker, Vice-President- Frank Murphy, Executive Officer- Butch Phillips, Secretary- John Silva, Treasurer- Linda Lee, Trap Director- none, Skeet Director- none, Member-at-Large- Nick Mosich, Member-at-Large- Ken Weaver, Rifle and Pistol Director- Gary Grabowsky, Junior Rifle Director- Jay DeCou. Because no one is being challenged the election on November 4, 2014 will be a ‘White Ballot’.
We have been working on the front gate system installing an intercom system. The system will allow non-members to gain access to the club by using the intercom to call to have someone open the gate from the club house or can be given a code to enter into the key pad. There will also be a box inside that can be opened for non-members to push a button to open the gate to exit.
September 20th and 21st we held our annual ATA Mudslide Trap Shoot. There were over 100 shooters present on Saturday and over 80 on Sunday. Saturday after the shooting was done we served mudslide drinks to the shooters and guests along with a tri-tip and chicken barbecue, the food was prepared by the Native Sons of the Golden West from San Miguel. They also served hamburgers for lunch on Saturday and Sunday, the food was great and we appreciate their hard work. We also had a raffle after Saturday’s dinner, all of the money raised was given to the trap kids for their hard work all weekend. Many shooters brought donations for the raffle and local business also donated prizes, Norm Bridges Sporting Goods, Hogue Grips, Kelly Firearms, Spartan Training, and Uncle Ed’s Outfitters.
Saturday’s awards were donated by Paso Robles Ford.
We thank everyone for their support and help making this a great experience to our guests.
