5th emes international research conference 2015

The full Conference call, including a description of the 10 thematic lines and the submission procedure, has been published. In addition, we would also like to remind you that the submission period just opened today and it will be open until January 9, 2017.

The theme of the 6th EMES International Research Conference being "Social enterprise for sustainable societies", paper presentations and discussions will revolve around the role of these innovative practices in helping overcome the current crisis. The core question about whether social enterprises promote institutional economic diversity and democracy or whether they contribute to the weakening of solidarity, through the marketization of society will be tackled throughout the Conference programme.

The Conference will take place on 3-6 July 2017 at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium).

We have also prepared two documents to help participants prepare their participation, "How to get to Louvain-la-Neuve" and "Accommodation opportunities". You can download these documents on the Conference page.
