It's Summer... and we're cool and copacetic!
Which beats hot and sweaty ANY DAY!
Seriously, we have no complaints about the weather! Hot or cool, the music has been keeping us on the smooth and happy side!
Just off two wonderful festivals (The Great Hudson River Revival and the Old Songs Festival (put them BOTH on your calendar for next year!) we are on course for a return to the fabulous Swannanoa Gathering for Traditional Songs Week from July 8th -14th where we are teaching THE SONGS OF THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD and SONGS OF HOPE IN THE CHORAL TRADITION .
Bring those voices...bring a friend... and get ready for a week of joy.
We will also be at Friends General Conference leading a session with Bill Harley and other friends, then head to Maine where we get to play two of our favorite camps-
Hidden Valley and Med-O-Lark!
The rest of July takes us to Ohio, back to Maine and to PA and NY... and later in the summer to Illinois and Michigan for concerts and festivals.
So, stay in touch by checking our web page and if we are not coming close enough to you, tell us where you go to see music and we will have our fabulous agent Joann contact them. And while you're at it, send us your favorite summer food or a summer recipe and we'll pass it along for that end of summer virtual barbecue!
Hey, we outta make it a REAL barbecue next year. We'll handle the tunes!
With love from the dyno duo!

Big News on the Recording Front!
Help us mix and master Resurrection Day!
We are in the home stretch of recording, Resurrection Day... our first studio CD since the 2008 release of "Get on Board".
Now we need to raise some finishing funds!! To those of you have joined in already we say THANKS!
The CD contains 8 new tunes written by Reggie (including the title cut) and 4 other great songs AND a bonus track 'Roll On Woody"... a tribute to the 100th birthday of Woody Guthrie. Produced by Canadian music legend Ken Whiteley, this revival CD was inspired by Reggie's remarkable recovery from his liver transplant and will be released in September. So, help us to finish what we feel is our best CD EVER! Don't believe us?
Well, just check out these rough mixes at our website and we think you'll agree!
Then become our pre- order partner and buy one or more to share with friends!
The info is all there ... Online!!
But.. That's not all!!
We are proud to announce the release of "WELCOME TABLE: MASS OF SPIRITUALS" which is being published and distributed worldwide by GIA Publications.
Kim's mass, the basis of her Ph.D, has been recorded is now being printed and gussied up. It will be available for purchase and use at <http://www.giamusic.com/sacred_music> in about two weeks. A groundbreaking musical and liturgical resource, "Welcome Table is one of the very first complete masses ever using the actual themes and melodies of African American Spirituals. It turns out that Kim, with her co-composer Roger Holland Jr, is a pioneer.
And now she is using every available moment this summer to work towards finishing her dissertation so she can defend this Fall.
So check out the mass and tell your favorite cleric, choral conductor or director of music to do the same.
