One definition of community is a social unit of any size that shares common values.  By examining our relationship with our community, we can see opportunities for meaningful connection, as well as places we'd rather do something different.

What communities are you a part of?

Which of those communities do you intentionally choose membership in?
Which of those communities are you in, not because of choice?

What values do you share with each of these communities?

What do you give to your community?
What does your community give to you?

By acknowledging your environment's influence, you can choose what you allow to integrate and what parts of your community are not in alignment with your values.  In any event, maintaining regular connection with your community is vital to your wellbeing.
