Damage to Rescue Boards
There has been a recent increase in damage done to the rescue boards, mainly due to boards being dragged along the sand/concrete and due to the boards being placed incorrectly on the racks.
To all members who use the rescue boards, especially those packing up from patrol, could you please ensure:
1.         Boards are carried and are not dragged along the sand, rocks or concrete.
2.         Boards are returned to the racks, not left on the patrol trailer or ATV.
3.         Boards are stacked in accordance with the photos in the shed. thank you

Saturday Sippers is On!
Bilgola Swim POP this in your Diary
Reminder 18th April

We have had to postpone the Swim from Sunday 17th January to Sunday 18th April. It will be the last Swim for the 2020-21 Sydney Swim Season – probably a season we might all want to forget – but let’s go out with a celebration that the pandemic might have affected us but it will not change us as a club.
Please look out for requests in this Newsletter or contact me if you would like to help on this important Club event.

Nippers REMINDERS...

Well done Jack image above
Well done to SRC (Surf rescue certificate) Jack Farrell. While swimming in the flags last Sunday, he noticed Surf Patrol 6 rescuing a mother and daughter who had been dragged, with their boogie boards, out a fast moving gutter. His instinct was immediate, and he rushed across the sand bank, dived into the gutter and supported the patrol to bring the mother and daughter to safety. This showed amazing fortitude and initiative

Hope to  - See you at the Beach

Latest property news from our Sponsor Ray White Prestige - Palm Beach...

Ray White Now | February Edition

The year 2021 has kicked off with continuing gusto - record-breaking buyer metrics, such as loan pre- approvals, open for inspection numbers, registered auction bidders, online enquiries and so on. These metrics continue to give us confidence the current extraordinary momentum will endure well into 2021, especially as our central bank continues to forecast very low interest rates for at least the next three years. Naturally we’ll keep a watch on demand given our Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has ruled out the possibility of an extension to JobKeeper beyond the end of March.
