Skills Maintenance
Please note - Patrolling members have until November 1st to complete.
This season will mark a huge shift in the way we conduct surf lifesaving and we request all active members complete their online skills maintenance ASAP. Online skills maintenance is where patrolling members will be educated and equipped with the new information they need to patrol this season. Online skills maintenance will cover more ground this season to minimise what needs to be done for physical proficiencies.
For information on the new changes to Bronze and SRC, please see the video and info page below.

You should have received an email about skills maintenance if you are a patrolling member and have access via elearning in the members area. If you have any trouble or questions please email Training.Officer@bilgolaslsc.org.au
Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (IMAGE)
We will be running an Advanced Resuscitation Techniques course this month. Advanced resuscitation skills are a great compliment to the bronze medallion and make you even more of an asset to your surf life saving patrol. Under the current changes to patrol operations, ART award holders are the only members permitted to handle oxygen in emergency incidents.
Dates: 20th, 22nd (2 hour evening sessions) and 25th (final training and assessment) of October
If you are interested in the ART course, please email deputycto@gmail.com to register interest.
COVID NOTICE – BOARDS & SKIS

Due to current COVID safe procedures, we ask that all members who take out rescue boards, paddle boards or skis to return the equipment by:
  1. Washing the equipment down with water.
  2. Spraying the equipment with disinfectant. We have attached a spray bottle to the moveable board rack.
  3. Return the equipment to the location it was taken from.

This should also be done by patrols at the conclusion of each patrolling day.

COVID safe Clubhouse

Please note we have introduced a Covid Safe QR code system for the clubhouse.  Anytime you are using the club you are required to register using the QR code.

How is the northern beaches property market right NOW ?

Here today Gone tomorrow. Despite having double figure contracts out, the vendors of 214 Whale Beach Road, Whale Beach decided to sell ahead of their scheduled Auction this Saturday to one very happy and motivated purchaser. Hot on its heels and attracting the interest of those who missed out is our new Whale Beach listing, 25 Rayner Road. Its open on Saturday at 10.30 am so I hope to see you there. For those who prefer to be in walking distance of Avalon Beach on the exclusive Ruskin Rowe, we also have a new gem to offer you there. Please see House of the Week above.

The COVID Pandemic has seen the 'lifestyle' factor underpinning strong sale results more than ever as people realise they can now work from anywhere and are preferring properties close to beaches & waterways, or locations that were otherwise reserved for weekenders or holiday homes. In addition, expats returning home due to the pandemic are turning their interest to Upper Northern Beaches properties.

Begging the question that if you are thinking about selling, "Why would you wait?"
