Nippers Update

Well - the sun poked it's nose finally after a drenching Saturday, but the conditions were trying. However, many - even the u10s tried to tackle some short runs in swim and board. Well done to all, and all the amazing newly appointed Cadets in their consistent assistance!!
Thankyou to all with your assistance in keeping Nippers running to its utmost in my absence over the last few weeks and under the able guidance of Michael O'Sullivan, our Vice Chairman.
Our much missed BBQ was back last Sunday!
This cannot be run without the assistance of parents each week. A roster system is in place (in current calendar) for parents required in each age group.  Ideally, we have a keen and able BBQ'er leader to help us run this each week, and all enquiries in this respect can be directed to
This week it is U8 parents for 1st session and U12s for second session.
PLEASE help support our club with our No.1 Fund Raising and keep our much loved Sangers alive. We require at least 3 per session. You should have received notification from the above Age Group AMs for your assistance. WE NEED YOU AND WE ALL LOVE THE BBQ AFTER A HARD SESSION!!
Otherwise you can sign up for assistance on the following link - even if not the nominated age group, and has slots for the next 4-5 weeks!
A reminder that our final round of Club Champs is this Sunday, 21st February. Club champs are decided on the best 2 x rounds out of 3.  We will also have our photographer there to take photos of any Nippers not around in the first Club Champs for our Age group photos presented at Presentation Day.
Please save the date for our Presentation day that is currently scheduled for Saturday, 27th March at 4pm. For those that are new, it's a chance to celebrate all our Nippers achievements for the year and award our Club Champs and various other fabulous Nipper awards/contributions. We hope to have our special Spit/BBQ and other entertainment after the presentation. Please look out for correspondence re - as it may need to be a book for place and also will be subject to current COVID conditions.
We are still urgently seeking assistance in running our Uniform shop/online store. For more detail, please contact me on
Finally, as always, don't forget to check in using our Service NSW Covid-Safe app for Nippers session - found on link at or by scanning the code at the Club on arrival.
Hope to see you at the beach this Sunday.

First Aid Kit Bags
Can we please ask that all members on patrol do their part to maintain our first aid and trauma kits so that all items are replenished after use. The kits should be Rescue Ready – in the prepared condition they were at the start of the season. When any item is used, it needs to be replenished. Going forward, any item used needs to be written up on the white board in the First Aid room (item and which kit bag) so that it can be replaced and put back into the appropriate kit bag. Thanks for your cooperation.
