NOV 7-9 - EU Constitutional Convention, Bucharest
We the people of the European Union....
Sounds familiar? Do you want to not only be looking at history in the making – but making history instead? This is the moment you have to seize.
The Citizens' Convention is not an alternative to other federalist NGOs: It transcends all other divisions, their main ambition is to increase the pace and the visibility of the movement for a federal Europe. Conceived by the authors of the European Federalist Papers, it summons all federalists to join together in Bucharest to adopt the first European federalist declaration - by the people and for the people.
Are you packing your suitcase yet? There is more information on this website
NOV 15-17 - UEF's 24th European Congress, Berlin
Berlin will also be the important rendez-vous this autumn for the European federalist movement. There, the Union of European Federalists (UEF) organises its 24th European Congress on 15-17 November 2013.
The Congress will feature leaders of the European political parties in one of the first debates of next year's European Parliamentary election campaign. The UEF will also debate and vote on their own federalist Manifesto - a debate which will be inspired by the publication over the summer of the Fundamental Law of the European Union, currently being drafted by the Spinelli Group of MEPs under the direction of Andrew Duff.
