The parting feast
As we prepare to feast and ultimately part from 2013, this is the time to look back.
Don't worry, we are not of the nostalgic type, we look back with a smile on our face.
This year proved to be the year in which our local sections cemented themselves in as a driving force within JEF Belgium. Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Liège and Louvain-la-Neuve have all organised events on their own and made their voices heard with lush during the Federal Committees we held. Yes, it was the first year of our new internal structure. It was, however, the second year the Cross-Border Network organised their annual seminar. The value of this network of JEF sections is still undeniable and we're a proud partner.
2014, full of exciting events and plans. Full of promise and hope. Full of debate and jokes.
The next year is already shaping up to be a very busy year. There are of course our Training Days to look foreward to. The clinger undoubtably will be the elections for the European Parliament on May 25th. We are not facing 2014 empty handed. Oh no, we are prepared for one hell of a ride.
To all of you, and especially all the JEF volunteers, we wish you all happy holidays, a fantastic end of the old year and a brilliant beginning of the new one.

Schoonmoeder aller verkiezingen
Note: this is the Dutch part of the election campaign. The moment we have news for the French speaking community, we will let you know. If you are interested in participating, you already can let us know by e-mailing to email@example.com
