WHY WE CAN'T SLEEP by Ada Calhoun — Read Now

Ada has always been one of my favorite writers (she read at our fundraiser event last year), from her history of St. Mark's Place in New York to her funny, realistic look at modern marriage. In her latest, she is taking on what is keeping Generation X women up at night. It is shocking how much of it rings true for Millennials, as well.

Ow EP, Pom Pom Squad — Listen now

I saw Mia perform at a Rational Creature event two years ago and followed her on Instagram. Since then, she’s released some really cool music. This EP combines typical images of constructed “girly-ness” with raw, pissed off, punk vibes. It’s a wonderful dichotomy of beauty and pain, and almost every song on the EP made it to my Spotify 2019 wrapped!

Creature Feature Podcast — Listen now

Half science, half comedy, Katy Golden’s podcast explores the beast in humanity and humanity in beasts. It is equally entertaining and informative, especially if you want to learn some fun facts to freak out your friends. Favorite episodes: "Eat, Prey, Die" and "Aw, Rats!"

Final Season of Mr. Robot — Watch now

I've been hooked on this show since it started, and I can't wait for the series finale. I'm endlessly intrigued by Elliot, his team of basement-hacker-turned-social-revolutionary friends, and the show's unmistakably anti-capitalist message juxtaposed with the overconsumption and economic inequality of NYC.
