Hello from the Office of Student Wellness! With finals upon us, an election season, and impacts of COVID still taking place...some of our batteries may be feeling a little drained!

With that said, this month we are focusing on taking a break and taking care of ourselves, and we've put together different programs and resources to support your holistic well-being.

We also want to acknowledge Indigenous Peoples' Day and recognize the profound contribution and foundation laid in the field of wellness from Indigenous folks and native cultures. Please take a moment to read this article recently shared by the Office of Intercultural Education to learn more.
Be well,
The Office of Student Wellness

Maintaining personal and public health is an important balance! How do we make space for physical, social, and emotional well-being activities while ensuring we are keeping ourselves and others safe while navigating this pandemic?

Per state officials, the influenza (flu) vaccine is now required for all colleges to help combat the effects of COVID-19.

As you go to your regular COVID-19 testing on-campus, Health Services will be administering them, so be prepared! You can also make an appointment at Health Services by calling 781-283-2810.

If you are off-campus, you can get a flu vaccine at your Primary Care Provider, local pharmacies, health centers or check the vaccine finder near you.

As different personal protective equipment (PPE), like face masks and/or gloves, has fast become our new norm - it's important to consider the impact all of this has on our environment and our role in sustainability.

Luckily, the Office of Sustainability along with Environmental Health Services has put together some guidance for you on how to care for your cloth face masks and how to properly dispose of other PPE in sustainable manners, click to learn more!
How is our on-campus community doing with COVID-19 health and safety practices? We want to hear from you!

We are asking on-campus students, faculty and staff to complete this short, weekly, anonymous survey sent to your email, so be sure to keep an eye out!

Your responses help inform public health behaviors on campus. Thank you for helping to keep Wellesley healthy!

The Wellness Outreach Collaborative (WOC) is seeking a student to join us on the first Thursday of each month from 2-3pm (via Zoom) to provide a student's perspective to help guide our work in developing programming related to wellness on-campus.
