The Ashland Main Street Association Invites Artists to Submit Holiday Ornament Designs for the 2016 Governor’s Holiday Tree.

The Executive Mansion recently announced that the theme for its 2016 Holiday Tree will be “Home for the Holidays.” This event was very popular last year and so it is back by popular demand.  An invitation has been extended to every county, city and town in the Commonwealth to provide a handcrafted ornament for this tree.

Artisans eligible to submit ornament designs for the Executive Mansion holiday tree must be 18 years of age and older, and a resident of the Ashland area, or a full-time student of Randolph-Macon College. The ornament should represent the Town of Ashland in some way. The ornament should not be bigger than 6 inches in any dimension. One Town of Ashland ornament will be sent to the Governor's Mansion.

Entry forms and designs must be delivered on October 27, 2016 to the Gallery Flux Annex, 302B England Street. Are you interested in participating? Please contact Tom Wulf at 804.301.6913 or mainstreetashland@gmail.com.
