Over 50 Teenagers and Children
Gave Their Lives to Jesus
As you probably know that the Sems are away for a month for a small sabbatical. Though, we've only been away for 4 days, and we've already felt relaxed. We are having fun as a family, enjoying swimming, playing games, watching movies, ice-cream, picnics up on a mountain, etc. Thank God for his grace and peace.
Even though we are away out in another province south of Cambodia, we still have access to internet. This enables us to still get reports from our teams.
We just got a report from our children pastor, Keo Mey, who is leading a team of 30 volunteers doing a program to reach out to the community teenagers and children for the last 7 Sundays. They've done games, bible studies/stories in groups, challenging group competitions, and so on for 7 weeks.
But just this last Sunday, Keo and his team were determined to give a chance to the teenagers and children to receive Jesus. Keo and His team have taught them for weeks about Jesus and their need of Jesus, the Savior. Then they boldly gave the invitations for them to believe in Jesus this last Sunday afternoon. Amazingly, over 50 of them came forward to receive Jesus in their hearts.
My heart is rejoicing and very blessed! We hope that you would share this joy with us and together with the angels in heaven as well. Thank you very much for your prayers and support. Together we can make the difference in the next generations in the Nation of Cambodia.
