Amandla! Mandela
The SANEC team has watched Amandla! Mandela  and strongly recommends to go and see the musical. The musical spectacle is about Nelson Mandela who looks back on his life from his cell on Robben Island, from being a young boy of nine years old, to a student/professional in Johannesburg and being elected to be the first black president of South Africa. The musical is accompanied by traditional South African music by The Khayelitsha United Mambazo Choir. You can get your tickets here.

Annet van Egmond Studio: Puck and Miss Nightingale
Annet van Egmond has designed two lamps based on solar technology: the Puck and Miss Nightingale. The Puck is made by a woman for a woman. The light also improves safety and the atmosphere in the home. Miss Nightingale is a lamp for home lighting which looks a bit more fancy and would not look bad at ones home. "Bringing light to the people of Africa is my mission, in the townships as well as the remote areas."
