Bryan Sullivan to turn over position to Deborah Carroll
Among the items discussed during the business meeting at the 2012 ABFM Conference in New York City on October 12th, longtime ABFM Treasurer Bryan Sullivan announced he would be stepping down from the position, following a transition of duties.
ABFM Chair Jim Savage and Chair-Elect Scott Pattison selected Deborah Carroll, Assistant Professor at The University of Georgia and former ABFM Executive Committee member, to the position of Assistant Treasurer, with her assuming the Office of Treasurer following completion of the transition.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be appointed Treasurer of ABFM,” Carroll said. “I very much look forward to the opportunity to give back to a community of practitioners and scholars that I have been involved with and benefited greatly from for more than a decade.”
