The time to nominate has ended and below is the proposed slate of HVBA Officers for the next two years. The election will be held at an Open Jam & General Meeting at The Manor on November 3. Officers assume office on December 1, 2021.
President: David Chernack
Vice-President: Peter Conklin
Treasurer: George Nasca
Secretary: Mike Fowler
David Chernack is probably known to every bluegrass musician in the Hudson Valley and well beyond. He brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre and an energy that will serve him (and us) well.
Peter Conklin has been serving as VP since 2011 and, as we all know, Peter is always happily there when needed. We are so lucky to have a "can-do" person serving on our Board of Directors.
George Nasca, in a former life, was a CPA. Now he is a bluegrass-playing biker (not necessarily in that order). George has brought all of his accounting skills to this position and for that....we have been grateful.
Mike Fowler joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and has proven to be a diligent and efficient member, stepping up to help us with all sorts of issues. He always does his homework and, if I were to grade that homework, I'd give him an A+!!
Please mark you calendars for November 3. Join us for some drinks (non-alcoholic) and goodies and be there to vote in the new HVBA officers.

Here is your chance to watch the August 8th lawn concert for a second time (if you were lucky enough to be there)....or the first time, if you missed it. Keep in mind that this video was shot and edited by an amateur and not by Fred Robbins. However, if we get lucky, sometime in the near future, we will have a newly edited version of this concert.
