Hey WIldcats!
We have an exciting edition for you this week! We're talking
diversity, daring to be different, and diving into February without any fear

So as you scroll through your edition remember that although you are on this big campus that can make you feel so small sometimes, we all have something very important in common. That is the BEAR DOWN mentality. Through all of our differences in beliefs, goals, and backgrounds, we challenge you to celebrate #FearlessFebruary with us. Push yourself to get out of that comfort zone you try so hard to maintain and experience all that your fellow Wildcats have to offer!

2/11: LAST DAY to:
1. Use UAccess to drop a course without a grade.

You Want to Know
Q: What's the difference between a W and an E on my transcript?

A: Starting February 12th, if you drop a class, the instructor will award you a W or an E on the Change of Schedule form. If your instructor gives you a W, that will denote that you were passing at the time of dropping the course. However, if you are failing the class when you drop, the instructor will award you a grade of E. For more information about what this will mean for your transcripts, see your advisor or
read here.

Q: What is a GRO?

A: GRO stands for Grade Replacement Opportunity which allows you to retake a course you may not have done very well in. With this opportunity, you can replace grades of C, D, and E. The grade you receive from retaking the course is the one that is used to recalculate your GPA.
