Update: Saturday 9th July 2022
Dear brothers and sisters
I hope to see lots of you tomorrow at our 10.45 service, where we will be continuing our sermon series in Acts. The only notice this week is from our friends at Claverton:
Fundraising for St Mary’s Claverton
As you know St Mary’s is part of our benefice. The Church is running two fundraising activities this summer to help reduce the 2022 deficit at St Mary’s.
The first is a sponsored canoe from Bathampton to Avoncliff and return (about 10 miles) stopping at Claverton (Ferry Lane bridge) for refreshments. Nigel Shepherd, a member at St Nicholas, is joining me in a double canoe. We aim to leave Bathampton Bridge on the K&A around 1pm on Sunday 24th
The second is an OPEN GARDEN afternoon on Wednesday 17th August at The Retreat, Haugh, Winsley similar to one we held a few years ago to raise funds for St Nicholas. More details later.
If you would like to sponsor the canoeing, a website has been set up with Give-a-Little. To go to the webpage, you can use the QR code below or click here
