December marks the beginning of our annual membership campaign, when we ask you to formalize and renew your commitment to our shul. Membership represents the single biggest source of funding for the shul, and reinforces our identity as a community-led, community-supported shul.
Take a moment to reflect on the past year, and how our shul and our community played a role in it throughout. Perhaps we last saw you in 1027 over Purim, or at a summer Tot Shabbat in Prospect Park; maybe online for our scholar series on isolation in Judaism or under our tents for Kol Nidre; or even just opening one of our holiday care packages.
Our communities are what bind us in these fragile times; will you help sustain us this year?
We understand that this year has presented new challenges for many individuals and families, so we’ve decided to maintain our membership rates identical to last year. More so than ever this year, if these rates present a financial concern or obstacle, please reach out to myself or to Rabbi Leener. We’ve never turned any applicant away for financial reasons, and we’d be happy to work with you. .
Our membership year ends December 31, so please act today!
