1027 Re-Opening
Ae’re excited to share a roadmap towards returning to davening as a community in our space at 1027 Pacific. We will of course revisit and communicate as the situation evolves, and will continue to monitor guidance from the state, city, and other community organizations. We have also updated our PHS COVID 19 guidance, which can be found on our website (www.phs.nyc)

Shavuot Across Brooklyn

We're excited to share that Shavuot Across Brooklyn will be returning in-person and outdoors this year! For those who aren't familiar, Shavuot Across Brooklyn is an all-night learning extravaganza held at Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE) in Park Slope involving many communities from all denominations across Brooklyn. Our own Rabbi Leener will be teaching an in-person class from 12-1 am "Torah and Trauma: What does Jewish Tradition Teach Us About Overcoming Trauma?"

Check out https://cbebk.org/shavuot/ for more info and to sign up!

From the website: Join us as a number of Brooklyn’s minyanim, synagogues, and organizations come together for Shavuot Across Brooklyn, an all-night teaching and learning celebration commemorating the giving of the Ten Commandments. This year we will have some in-person learning and some virtual learning as a hybrid tikkun.

Beginning at 10 PM, the program will feature dozens of different lessons from some of the finest teachers from across Brooklyn, ending with sunrise services at 5:15 AM.

All in-person sessions will happen dispersed throughout Garfield Place, between Prospect Park West and 8th Avenue. Masks and social distancing are required. Stay tuned for any last minute weather-related changes.
