As we approach Yom Kippur, we are asking the broader PHS community to contribute to our annual High Holidays appeal. Our appeal represents the single largest fundraising source for the shul outside of our membership drive. It goes without saying, but this has been a very unusual year, and we’ve faced a host of new challenges as we’ve confronted the impacts of this pandemic.

For more information about our appeal, please see PHS President David Hammer's recent email.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Theresa Dakin, beloved mother of Alana (Dakin) Rahmani.

You can send a note of condolence to Alana at If you would like to send a meal or other form of support, please be in touch with Jonathan Rahmani by text or WhatsApp at 214-945-5915.

May God comfort the entire Dakin/Rahmani family amongst all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
