Parking made easy.
City operated carparks are the cheapest and most convenient parking option for your customers. Subipark is your guide to easy and affordable parking in the City of Subiaco carparks. Parking in the town centre carparks is free for the first hour and free on evenings and weekends.  Find out more by visiting the new Subipark website.

 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS
Last chance to enrol to vote
As a business or property owner in the City of Subiaco, you can vote in the October Local Government Elections. If you have not yet enrolled to vote now is your last chance.  To vote, you need to be recorded on the State electoral roll for where you live, and on the City’s owner/occupier roll.

Registrations close at 5pm on Friday 30 August. Information on how to enrol can be found on the City’s website, along with the form to complete.You can check your state electoral enrollment on the WA Electoral Commission website.

Did you know Subiaco has a Town Team? Subiaction is a positive, proactive and independent team of local volunteers focused on enhancing Subiaco as a vibrant, thriving and attractive destination where people want to live, work, shop and socialise. Subiaction is currently recruiting for new volunteers.

Become an Actionator

Actionators get involved with events, activations and projects to help make them happen! Being an Actionator is a great way to learn, develop new skills and connect with people in your community. Congratulations to Dymocks Subiaco, on winning its second consecutive Chairman’s Award for Retail Excellence presented at the 2019 Dymock's national conference in Melbourne. Organic waste trial
Would you like to reduce the amount of waste from your business going to landfill? With organic waste bins the City can reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, reduce the number of bins on the streets and recycle waste into reusable compost. Nominate your business to take part in this trial by emailing ecodev@subiaco.wa.gov.au.
NBN roll out
NBN is currently being rolled out in the Subiaco area and the Australian Government has isssued a warning about NBN scams. If you have been contacted by someone claiming to be from NBN and you think it may be a scam there are some steps you can take to protect yourself and your business.For more information go to the NBN website

PLACE PLAN UPDATE
The Subiaco Place Plan is a dynamic and practical list of 49 actions to be completed in a three year period. The plan is guided by a strong understanding of place, people and vision. 

Night Time Music Series
One of these actions is to implement a cosy and intimate night-time live music series inside bars and restaurants over three consecutive nights starting Thursday 3 October. The marketing for this music series is now underway.

Community led block parties
The City is providing support to Subiaco's Town Team, Subiaction, to deliver a number of block parties across areas of Subiaco. The first of these parties is set to get underway in October. To get involved contact Subiaction at info@subiaction.org.au.
