To showcase what an exciting place Subiaco is to do business, the City has developed the Subiaco: Open for Business prospectus. This prospectus is a detailed marketing tool to promote Subiaco to new businesses and investors. 

Watch the Subiaco: Open for Business video  to see the wave that is re-energising Subiaco. Share this video with your business connections to continue the message that Subiaco is Open for Business.

The City launched the prospectus from the ninth floor of the soon-to-be Park Regis Hotel on Hay Street. Key influencers, investors and developers were in attendance. Read more about the Subiaco: Open for Business event.

Subilicious is back!

2019 was Subiaco's very first Fringe World Hub and it was such a success that See Subiaco will be supporting another Subilicious event for January 2020.

Welcome Blacklist Coffee Roasters
The team behind The Toastery at 439D Hay Street have recently changed the name and concept to focus on high-end single origin coffee. “Being a coffee roaster, we wanted to create a space that wasn’t just a cafe” says co-owner Darren Woon. Take your next coffee break at Blacklist Coffee Roasters.

Welcome The Corner Italian
Owner and Head Chef Caleb Azuka was trained by world renowned chef Massimo Bottura. Caleb is passionate about delivering high-quality food at affordable prices and his Burrata is a WA first, Caleb says "all other Burrata in WA or Australia are frozen and imported, but mine are fresh". Grower's Lane

Does your restaurant or shop deliver products to customers? 
Ordering home or office delivered meals and products has become big business in Australia in the last few years with advancements in technology increasing the need and ease of online ordering further into the future. The Local Delivery Working Group are seeking local traders in Subiaco who would be interested in participating in a project aimed at introducing a Subiaco specific ordering and home delivery platform.

Free Carbon Calculator and Report
The Low Carbon Living program is a nationwide, not for profit initiative which gives households, businesses and communities quick and easy tools to reduce their energy, waste and water use. Access the carbon calculator here.
Private Property Register
The Private Property Register is designed to protect parking bays on commercial and retail premises. Current registrations are due for renewal by 31 July 2019. If you have not yet received your renewal information, please contact Compliance Services on 9237 9222 or  city@subiaco.wa.gov.au. For further information please visit the City's website.
 
PLACE PLAN UPDATE
The Subiaco Place Plan is a dynamic and practical list of 49 actions to be completed in a three year period. The plan is guided by a strong understanding of place, people and vision. 

Winter Night Time Music Series
One of these actions is to implement a cosy and intimate winter night-time live music series inside bars and restaurants over three consecutive nights starting Thursday 3 October. Suitable venues have been identified and contacted. For further information contact place@subiaco.wa.gov.au

Planter Boxes on Rokeby Road
An investigation is currently underway to identify suitable options to upgrade or replace the planter boxes with a treatment or solution that is sustainable and improves the overall appearance of the streetscape. The City is currently liaising with the consultants who developed the Place Plan style guide to deliver a trial of options. Letters have been provided to businesses along Rokeby Road, if your business is on Rokeby Road and you did not receive one please contact us.
