Food business reminder – end of financial year fees and renewals
All food business owners are reminded that Annual Food Business Risk Assessment fees and Outdoor Dining and Street Trading Permit renewal forms are due on 30 June 2016.
Businesses renewing a current Outdoor Dining and Street Trading Permit have no additional fees to pay this year, after Council approved amendments to the outdoor dining fees and charges for 2016 in January, removing the annual outdoor dining permit fee.
To be eligible for a renewal, all renewal forms and public liability insurance information must submitted to the city before the current permits expire on 30 June 2016. If a permit is allowed to expire, a new application will need to be submitted, along with the new outdoor dining permit fee of $300, and approved before the outdoor dining area can be used.
Invoices and renewal forms were posted to all food businesses on 23 May 2016. If you did not receive your paperwork please contact the city’s Environment Health Services prior to the 30 June on 9237 9254 as infringements may be issued to any business operating an outdoor dining area without a permit.
