Football finals fever

Subiaco is gearing up for another big weekend of football as the Fremantle Dockers and the West Coast Eagles host their opponents at Subiaco Oval next Friday night and Saturday. Never before have two preliminary finals been held at Subiaco Oval.

Football finals fever doesn’t stop there. Congratulations to Subiaco Football Club who will play in their second consecutive WAFL Grand Final at Subiaco Oval next Sunday.

We’d love to know about your decorations and football specials – email
place@subiaco.wa.gov.au or connect with us on the Visit Subiaco social media accounts by tagging your posts #lovesubiaco

The city has printed some new finals fever posters for your windows in the colours of all three teams – purple and white, yellow and blue, and maroon and gold. We’ll be calling into businesses in the town centre or you can collect them from the city’s Administration Centre, 241 Rokeby Road, Subiaco.

Good luck to all the teams! We look forward to welcoming all supporters in Subiaco in their team colours.

Works will be conducted between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, commencing Tuesday 29 September and expected to finish Friday 30 October.
